Zeeshan Minhas
Head Coach
Zeeshan Minhas is the head coach of the Dolphins Field Hockey Club in Scarborough, Ont., a position he has held since 2009. In 2021, Minhas received the Field Hockey Canada Development coach of the year award for his tireless dedication to amateur field hockey.
On the international stage for Canada, Minhas has an array of titles. was the head coach for Team Ontario Red in 2016, leading the team to the gold medal at the U16 national field hockey championships while outscoring opponents 19-0 over the five-day tournament. He was also the head coach for the Ontario U18 Boys team at the 2018 nationals, winning a silver medal with that squad.
Minhas is a long-time field hockey player after picking up the sport at the age of nine in his native Pakistan. He played at the national level in Pakistan and was an all-star at the All-Pakistan University national championships.


Lisa McRae
Assistant Coach
Lisa McRae is one of the Dolphins Field Hockey Club coaches in Scarborough, Ont.
She had a long, distinguished playing career, first at L’Amoreaux Collegiate and the Ookpiks club. She then went on to play for the Toronto Varsity Blues for five seasons (1981-85), winning three OWIAA championships and two CIAU titles and serving as team captain for her final two seasons. She was inducted into the University of Toronto Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
McRae was also a member of the Ontario provincial team and then the Canadian national team. She helped the national team win bronze medals at the 1986 World Cup and the 1987 Pan American Games, and went on to help Canada finish in sixth place at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul.
Frankie St. Louis
Assistant Coach
A former U SPORTS all-Canadian and OUA first-team all-star, St. Louis has been a mainstay on the Lions field hockey roster for four seasons. She took her aforementioned hardware during the 2019 season. In the prior year, St. Louis played a role on a Lions squad which qualified for the national championship as the top team in the OUA. They won a silver medal.
